OUR PROGRAMS
PREPARE, EMPOWER, SUPPORT
The Patriot Empowerment Institute's pioneering two-year transition program offers active-duty service members a comprehensive pathway to success as they prepare to transition into civilian life. Recognizing the diverse aspirations of veterans, PEI empowers individuals to choose one of four distinct pillars tailored to their interests and goals: Education, Entrepreneurship, Professional Employment, and Federal Job.
Under the Education pillar, service members are equipped with a detailed plan, a personalized timeline, and invaluable college preparatory information, ensuring a smooth transition into academia. Those inclined towards working for themselves benefit from the program's Entrepreneurship pillar, which not only fosters mentorship but also facilitates networking opportunities with both successful veteran and civilian entrepreneurs, laying the foundation for future business endeavors. Moreover, PEI's Professional pillar opens doors to post-service networks and corporate partners with dedicated veteran employment programs, providing service members with introductions and resources essential for securing meaningful employment opportunities in the civilian sector. For those eyeing federal employment, the Federal pillar offers crucial guidance in navigating the intricate federal application process, understanding job announcements, and crafting job-specific resumes to maximize their chances of success.
Complementing these pillars, PEI has established a veteran student tutoring program at Columbia University, offering tailored academic assistance, and further demonstrates its commitment to supporting veterans through an annual scholarship program, underscoring its dedication to fostering academic excellence and empowerment within the veteran community.
